Andy Yestrebi, DVM
Veterinarian In Charge, Dr. Andy Yestrebi has cared for animals long before becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Yestrebi began volunteering with the Erie County SPCA in 2006. He then worked with Monroe Veterinary Associates from 2008-2011, first as an Animal Care Assistant, then as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services.
Dr. Yestrebi was born and raised in Rochester, NY and attended Medaille College. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2009. His veterinary education took him to Canada, where he attended the University of Guelph and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Prior to joining the Companion Animal Hospital team, Dr. Yestrebi practiced veterinary medicine in North Carolina at the Academy Animal Hospital of Laurinburg and Startown Veterinary Hospital.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has a number of professional interests including ultrasonography, dentistry, radiology, surgery, behavior, acupuncture and physiotherapy. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Yestrebi enjoys soccer, hockey, fishing, canoeing, skiing, snowboarding, camping, cooking, baking, woodworking and music (specifically the alto saxophone).
Dr. Yestrebi shares his home with is wonderful wife, Michelle, and his dogs, Luna, Dakota and Jessie, and his cat, Calabasa.
Trent Huynh, DVM
Dr. Trent Huynh is an associate veterinarian at Companion Animal Hospital. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr.Huynh graduated with his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2014 from Saint George’s University.
Before joining our team, Dr.Huynh spent several years as an associate veterinarian at CNY Veterinary Medical Services in Westmoreland, NY. His professional interests include clinical pathology, preventative medicine, and client education.
Dr.Huynh has four dogs named Spunky (Yorkipoo), Casper (West Highland White Terrier), Angel (Carine Terrier Mix), and Arnie (Havanese). In his spare time, he enjoys carpentry, playing the guitar, cooking, and spending time with his wife and new born baby, Lucas.
Veterinary Technician Supervisor
Brandi has worked has worked in the animal-care industry for 17 years and is a New York State licensed veterinary technician. She is the veterinarian technician supervisor at Companion Animal Hospital.
Brandi enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets, as well as educating clients on how to properly care for their pets.
She has two dogs, Mikey and Remi, and two cats, Bonnie and Clyde. In her free time, Brandi enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
Client Service Supervisor
Dan Fouchie is the client service supervisor at Companion Animal Hospital, where he has worked since 2015. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Dan enjoys working at Companion because he helps clients keep their pets happy and healthy. He especially enjoys reuniting boarding pets with their families because they’re always so happy to see each other.
Dan shares his home with his canine companion, Bob (Bobbi) Barker, a Belgian Malinois mix. In his free time, Dan enjoys taking nature/wildlife photography, camping, fishing, reading and playing video games.
Naomi Ortega is the kennel supervisor at Companion Animal Hospital. She has been working in the animal-care industry since 2014.
She loves creating new relationships with animals and their owners, as well as getting the opportunity to bond and build trust with them.
Naomi shares her home with her husband, Michael, and their two dogs, Diesel and Moxie. In her free time, she likes taking walks at Mt. Hope Cemetery, going to new places, and watching The Office.
