Andy Yestrebi, DVM
Veterinarian In Charge, Dr. Andy Yestrebi has cared for animals long before becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Yestrebi began volunteering with the Erie County SPCA in 2006. He then worked with Monroe Veterinary Associates from 2008-2011, first as an Animal Care Assistant, then as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services.
Dr. Yestrebi was born and raised in Rochester, NY and attended Medaille College. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2009. His veterinary education took him to Canada, where he attended the University of Guelph and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Prior to joining the Companion Animal Hospital team, Dr. Yestrebi practiced veterinary medicine in North Carolina at the Academy Animal Hospital of Laurinburg and Startown Veterinary Hospital.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has a number of professional interests including ultrasonography, dentistry, radiology, surgery, behavior, acupuncture and physiotherapy. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Yestrebi enjoys soccer, hockey, fishing, canoeing, skiing, snowboarding, camping, cooking, baking, woodworking and music (specifically the alto saxophone).
Dr. Yestrebi shares his home with his wonderful wife, Michelle, and his dogs, Luna, Dakota and Jessie, and his cat, Calabasa.
Kevin Jones, DVM, CCRP, CCRT, CVA, CVSMT
Dr. Kevin Jones was born in Penfield, NY, and has been practicing animal care for over 20 years. He attended Louisiana State University where he earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine. Dr. Jones is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) from The University of Tennessee, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, Certified in Canine and Equine Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) and a Certified Canine and Equine Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapist (CVSMT) from The Healing Oasis.
Dr. Jones has six pets of his own including three dogs and three cats. In his time outside of the hospital he enjoys following college football, golfing, skiing, hiking, camping, and swimming. Dr. Jones is happily married with one son.
Veterinary Technician Supervisor
Brandi has worked has worked in the animal-care industry for 17 years and is a New York State licensed veterinary technician. She is the veterinarian technician supervisor at Companion Animal Hospital.
Brandi enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets, as well as educating clients on how to properly care for their pets.
She has two dogs, Mikey and Remi, and two cats, Bonnie and Clyde. In her free time, Brandi enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.
